ADMINISTRATION
Mrs. Stroup, has been involved on the campus in a
variety of capacities since 1989. As an active church member for eight years,
camp counselor for three summers, and classroom teacher for 10 years, she is
sensitive to the needs and attitudes of all groups who use the campus. Hired by
SEA in 1990, Mrs. Stroup taught fifth grade self-contained classes, then fourth
and fifth grade math, then became Dean of Students in 2000. In August 2002, she
was named Principal as she was mentored by Carol Mackoul to become the next Head
of School. Mrs. Stroup's tenure officially began in June 2003 when Mrs. Mackoul
retired. Mrs. Stroup’s goal is to encourage everyone to work together as a team
to make Sweetwater Episcopal Academy the best that it can be.
Lynda Delius, Assistant Head
of the School
Mrs. Delius joined the SEA staff in 1994 as
intermediate social studies teacher. She was Intermediate Team Leader and Social
Studies subject chair. In 2003 she became Academic Dean along with
teaching two classes of social studies. She is responsible for assisting the
Head of School with student discipline, assisting in the testing of incoming
students, textbook orders, curriculum review, lesson plans, classroom
observations, and campus tours with prospective parents. Mrs. Delius has a gift
and passion for writing curriculum and teaching American history.
Kim Bailey, Director of
Admissions
Mrs. Bailey
is responsible for
overseeing registration, maintaining and updating student records, and is
also Director of Extended Care. She
assists the Head of School and Academic Dean.
Denise Kost, Business
Manager
Mrs. Kost
is responsible for accounts receivable and
payable. She is in charge of ordering, purchasing, and keeping accurate
records of the budget. She is also in charge of information regarding staff
health benefits. Jann Bauder, CPA, manages the bi-monthly payroll account.
Paula Meades, Front Office
Mrs. Meades greets everyone as they
enter the front office. Mrs. Meades believes everyone deserves a warm SEA
welcome! She handles all incoming phone calls, processes information, and
promotes a welcome atmosphere in the office. She is in charge of the
clinic, and administers to sick or injured children.
Julia Miller, Network
Administrator
Mrs. Miller is
responsible for the maintenance of the computer network. Her primary
responsibility is to focus on campus-wide technology issues. She also serves as
the school's webmaster.
