An array of after school enrichment classes is offered at Sweetwater Episcopal Academy. A diversified program includes classes for different age levels and different student interests. These areas include physical, social, academic and artistic outlets. The programs are offered after school and provide an alternative to after care. The programs change according to the interests expressed by the students and instructors. They range from 5-9 weeks in length. The After School Enrichment Program promotes socialization outside of the classroom and enhances the educational experience in a familiar environment.
1. To provide students the opportunity to further explore interests they have developed in class.
2. To allow the children to work together with other students who share their similar interests.
3. To promote good citizenship and social skills through organized clubs.
4. To learn to work as part of a team.
5. To provide extra help sessions outside of the regular school hours.
6. To provide a more enriching alternative to Extended Care.
