Carla Caguin
Carla Caguin teaches second grade reading and social studies. She began teaching at SEA in August of 2004. Before teaching at SEA, she was a teacher in Prince George's County, Maryland and in Connecticutt before moving to Florida in 1994 where she worked as an ESOL resource teacher and ESOL coordinator.
"Every school has to teach the three R’s, but SEA goes beyond that," says Ms. Caguin. "Students have an opportunity to experience science and social studies, and I am happy to be part of that."
She has her B.A. in Modern Languages and Linguistics and her M.A. Instructional Systems Development from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Her hobbies include reading, reading, and more reading! She also loves to run and ride bikes with her family.
