Liz Herwig
Liz Herwig, Library Media Specialist, began her career at SEA 14 years ago and has taught third grade, fourth and fifth grade science and served as the Technology Coordinator.
"I am a firm believer of being a lifelong learner and SEA has provided continuous support as well as multiple opportunities for me to pursue this ongoing quest, says Ms. Herwig. "I feel very fortunate to be surrounded daily by such creative students and talented staff members who share my love of learning. As members of this united learning team, we are able to explore together new technologies and literary experiences that support our mission statement of academic and enrichment excellence. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be part of the “Kindzone” for so many years, sharing the spiritual and academic enrichment of our wonderful students!"
She has a MS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin and has pursued Graduate level classes in Technology and Library Science. Ms. Herwig's hobbies include reading, fun outings with family and friends, discovering and using new technologies, health conscious cooking, homeopathic medicine, fun fitness, fine arts (painting and drawing, playing piano) and inventing.
