Lynda Delius

Lynda Delius is Assistant Head of School and teaches fifth grade Social Studies.  Her first year at Sweetwater Episcopal Academy was in 1995 and 15 years later, Mrs. Delius still has the passion and commitment to help her students reach their potential; and grow into productive, respectful, and caring citizens.  She graduated from University of Central Florida with a BS degree in Elementary Education ~ Grades 1-6.

Mrs. Delius is quoted as saying, “My love for Sweetwater Episcopal Academy has its roots in three areas; my love of children, the joy I receive in teaching, and my desire to give and be part of the SEA Kindzone community.” 

She loves the spirit of collaboration and teamwork at SEA and her goal is to provide her students with a curriculum that makes history come alive. “I love teaching Geography, the Constitution, Revolutionary and Civil War, Presidential Biography research skills, and words to The Gettysburg Address.  I want my students to understand their heritage and to be proud of who they are and who they will become.”

In her rare spare time, Mrs. Delius likes to exercise, cook, read, garden, and take photographs.
