Chaplain Molly Davis

For Chaplain Molly Bosscher Davis, teaching is almost second nature.  Although she did not get an education degree in college (opting instead for a BA in religious studies), and although she went to seminary instead of a master's in education, she has taught children since she was 14, and babysat since she was 8.  Children have always been part of her life.  This has been the impetus for devoting years her life to implementing good Christian Education.  These are the skills that she brings now to Sweetwater, skills that are complimented by her absolute joy in teaching and being with children.

Chaplain Molly loves SEA’s family atmosphere and the emphasis on being in The Kind Zone.  “Children thrive when they know they can be safe, and it is my goal to make sure that SEA is a safe place for every child.”  Through stories, through role play, and through art, Chaplain Molly works to teach kindness both in the classroom and outside the classroom.

A graduate of Thomas Jefferson’s university, Molly attended the University of Virginia graduating in the top 1% of her class.  She went to seminary at the University of the South, in Sewanee TN, where she and her family hiked to their heart’s content.  She loves swimming, reading (mysteries are her favorite), and hanging out with her two children.
