ROLE OF THE PARENTS' CLUB

Throughout the year, the Parents' Club organizes many services that would otherwise need to be funded through tuition and staffed by the school. These activities benefit the students, the Academy, and the parents. We coordinate fundraising activities, administrative activities, special celebrations for the teachers, students, and the Academy. We meet at least four times during the school year to keep our parents informed and get their ideas.

Each year, parents elect officers to coordinate and facilitate the activities of the club.

There are also several picnics and gatherings designed to enable Sweetwater Episcopal Academy's parents to meet each other in an information setting. The Helping Hands program is designed to help teachers by providing services such as making copies, filing, preparing bulletin boards and working in the lunchroom. The Parents Club also provides the hot lunch program at SEA.
