Fifth Grade Presidential Dinner
Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 8:43PM
A long standing tradition at SEA, Fifth Graders and their families participated in SEA's Annual Presidential Dinner. Hosted by Social Studies Teacher and Assistant Head of School, Mrs. Delius, the evening provides an opportunity for students to showcase the research based learning they have been conducting on U.S. Presidents.
Students were required to research, draft, type and assemble a formal report on a President of their choosing. Complete with multiple pages of data, table of contents, introduction, conclusion and bibliography. During the President's Dinner, students displayed a show board, a miniature version of their President, provided a favorite food of their President for all of the attendees to share, and gave an oral presentation sharing several important facts to the audience.
