Sue Brown
Sue Brown teaches third grade. She works closely with Linda Whatley, the other third grade teacher at S.E.A. One of Mrs. Brown’s favorite things about S.E.A. is being able to use its beautiful campus to help her students develop a curiosity about the natural world.
She looks forward to third grade’s annual field trip to the Marine Science Center and the Kennedy Space Center. Her favorite time of the year, however, is when she is able to introduce her class to those loveable crustaceans – the crayfish!
Mrs. Brown began teaching third grade at S.E.A in 2001. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S degree in Deaf Education and Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Special Education and Administration. She is married and has three daughters. Her hobbies include volunteering as a museum docent, reading, traveling and weekends at the beach.
